Made from a sentence. Shared with the whole team.

A widget is the smallest thing a person can make, so it’s often the first taste of building.

  • Put what matters where everyone can see it.
  • It runs as whoever is looking, so each person sees only what they’re allowed to see.
  • It catches up when the data behind it changes, and Refresh is there when you want it now.

Looks, doesn’t touch

It can show your data. It can’t change it.

A widget reads your data through read-only tools. It can’t add, change or delete anything in your extensions. To change something, ask your assistant.

Pass it on

Made one someone else needs? Send them the file.

Export a widget as a file, and someone else can import it into their own space. They’ll need the same extensions.

Widgets aren’t listed in the Marketplace. For something bigger, with pages of its own and a place in the Marketplace, build an extension.
